Avoid Abusing and Cursing the Government
Honorable Hakeem Sahib, Assalam Alaikum! May Allah Almighty reward you with His blessings. You are really doing a great job through Ubqari organization. I am the regular reader of Ubqari magazine. I like your column “Editor Key qalam say” (From Editor) and “Tibbi Article” (Medical Article). I read your column “Hal e Dil” under the title of “Hukumat ka Iqtidar Ulat Dein Aur Sarkon per Aaen” (Take on the streets and oust the government) and it really ashamed me. I decided to write with aim to mend my ways and to share with others. After reading that article, I realized several responsibilities being the important part of this society. Since my aim is to mend myself therefore, today I won’t abuse and curse the government. I repent for this act and also beg pardon with everyone who was abused by me in the past.
This is My Fault, Not Government’s!
For example, we see “keep your city clean” boards and waste bins everywhere in public places, but we fail to perform our duties being a responsible citizen as we have bad habits to through wrappers of candies, skin of banana, empty packet of juice, chips packet etc to everywhere except for the waste bins. It’s entirely my fault if I failed to realize my responsibility to keeping the city clean.
Being a mother, I rectify myself before abusing my children. For instance, it’s my fault that I have made them habitual of doing nothing and just relaxing. I should not mocked them of being lazy. Similarly, if being a child I should not blame my parents for being strict with me during my growth as it was entirely my fault that I could not follow their useful advices and this made them to scold me.
We can apply this example to other social relations in our society e.g. teacher vs student and sister vs brother etc. A sister will surely find out her mistake before blaming her brother if she examines herself. We find several loopholes in different contacts of our society. Therefore, lets rectify ourselves before criticizing others.
Isn’t Amazing That Power Thieves Abuse The Authorities?
We have several people in our society who start abusing electricity department as soon as power fails. They forget that those officials are doing just their duties. There are many people in our society who are involved in power theft and lead abusing the electricity department and the government on power outage.
Honorable Hakeem Sahib! Your column “Hal e Dil” has jolted me. I would request the valuable readers to start rectification from yourselves and see you won’t find any wrongdoing with governments. Start cleaning from your own home and then your street and see how your whole country turned cleaned. Stop offering and taking bribe and see how our society is cleansed from this grave problem. Stop adulteration by yourself and see how quickly it vanishes from our beloved country. If you can’t do this then stop abusing and criticizing the government and state departments. May Allah Almighty make me a good citizen so that I can’t find wrong among others.
