Hakeem Zia ur Rahman, Multan
Part No. 7
Whenever the honorable father Hakeem Ferroz ud Din Ajmali (Late) would pass through my home, dropped a message for me. This ever reminding message used to be like this “ Zia ur Rahman! Would you spend your valuable time and money on entertainment and preaching or on the doctors or in the hospitals”. This was indication by my father that I would not spend my time only for this life yet the rights of spirit are far more than these things.
I will be healthy as long as I will take care of my spirit and body, otherwise, all of us know very well that patients even get the medicines to feel spiritual relieve. The people who are physical ill because of spiritual weakness spend a cache of money for medicines. Days are gone when people were motivated to participate in the gathering elders and the saints to make their spirit stronger. Hakeem Sb (Late) would say “It is not a big deal to offer prayers for individual benefits rather the real success is hidden in an act which is conducted for the benefits for the people. This is the real spirit of prayers.” If the gains of prayers will be limited to one’s own life then it will be considered his own good, it would be nothing for others.
