Rabi ul awwal is the 3rd month of the Islamic calendar and is a month of great blessing and honour. The Prophet of the universe, Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ, was born in this month.
The first night: any person who performs two rakat nafl on the first night and first day of his month during the morning hours and the night hours in such a way that after reciting surah Fatihah he then recites surah Ikhlas 7 times in both the rakat, then that person would gain the reward of praying for 700 years.
Visit from Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ: to the one who performs 16 rakat nafl divided in two rakat on the first night of Rabi ul awwal after the isha prayer in such a manner that after reciting surah Fatihah, he recites surah Ikhlas 3 times in each rakat. After having completed all the nafl he must also sit with immense concentration while still facing the kiblah and recite the following Durud 1000 times:
After reciting this he must lie on a clean bed while still in a state of ablution without talking to anyone, Inshah Allah that person would get the honour to meet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ.
Second night: on the second night of Rabi ul awwal, after magrib prayer the person who performs two rakat nafl in such a manner that he recites surah Ikhlas 3 times after reciting Surah Fatihah, in each rakat. After completing this, the following Durud should be recited 11 times.
After that you can pray to Allah for the fulfilment of any valid wish of yours and it will, Inshah Allah, be granted.
Third night: on the third night of Rabi ul awwal after isha prayer offer 4 rakat of nafl in such a manner that in every rakat recite ayat-ul-kursi once, 3 times surah taha as well as three times surah yasin. After ending the salat with salam, offer the reward of this recitation in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Inshah Allah, Allah will fulfil both worldly and spiritual needs.
12th rabi ul awwal: on the twelfth of rabi ul awwal offer zuhar prayer and then offer 20 nafl by dividing in two nawafil and recite surah Ikhlas 21 times after surah fatihah. After completing this, offer the reward(sawab) of this in the presence of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ as a gift. Awlia karam have always kept a routine of these nawafil and those who keep offering these nawafil get the honour of seeing the prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Allah grants them place in jannat al firdaus. Also this person will be honoured by the recommendation of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ on the day of judgement.
21st rabi ul awwal: offer two rakat nafal on this day in such a manner that after every Surah Fatihah recite Surah Muzammil and then after completing the prayer immediately go into prostration(sajdah) and recite the following dua with utmost concentration and devotion
:یَاغَفُوْرُ تَغَفَّرْتَ بِالغُفْرِ وَ الْغُفْرُ فِیْ غُفْرِکَ یَاغَفُوْرُ After this whatever legal desire is asked for with a truthful heart would be fulfilled Inshah Allah.
The decision of dying with imaan in Rabi as sani :
This is the fourth month of the Islamic calendar and it is also known as rabi ul akhir and that’s why it was named rabi ul akhir but it came popular by the name of rabi us sani. The nawafil that one can offer in this month are listed below as they as offered by many Sufis.
Nawafil for the first night of this month:
Aa’bad(a rank of people who are with utmost imaan)have said when the new moon of this month is seen then on that evening after maghrib prayer offer 8 rakat nafal in divisions of two and after reciting surah fatihah recite surah kausar 3 times, surah kafirun three times and then in the third, fourth,fifth,sixth,seventh and eighth recite surah Ikhlas three three times. Inshah Allah the one who offers this would gain immense reward and alond with the reward of offering many prayers.
4-rakat nafl:
In the book ‘Jawahar ghaibi’ it is mentioned that one can offer 4 rakat nafl prayers on the 1st,15th,19th of this month. After every surah fatihah recite surah Ikhlas 5 times. By doing this the person earns the reward for 1000 good deeds and 1000 sins are erased from his record. Inshah Allah would grant forgiveness on the day of judgement.
To Die as a believer: the person who after namaz e isha recites the following verse 1111 times he would leave this world while reciting the kalma. Some elderly people believe this to be a verse that assures a death with belief in the oneness of Allah and Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ being the last prophet.
Anyone who recites this above mentioned verse once would have his name written in the list of those remember Allah Almighty day and night and he would ascend to the ranks of those who gain entrance into Jannah. Also his sins would shed like the shedding of a tree and Allah would look down upon him with favour and he would be prevented from encountering the punishments of hell. Also there is a hadith that tells us that the person who recites the following:
سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰہِ وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰہِ وَلَا آِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللّٰہُ وَاللّٰہُ اَکْبَرُ وَلَاْ حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْم عَدَدَ مَافِی عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ وَدَوَامِ مُلْکِ اللّٰہِwould gain reward for reciting this verse even after this universe comes to an end.
