Honourable Hakeem Sahib Assalam o Alaikum! I am an avid reader of Ubqari Magazine for the past two years and I am also listening regularly to your lectures (dars) on the internet for the past 4 months. The lectures have become such a drug that I cannot explain the inner peace that I attain from after having listened to them. I request Allah to keep me consistent in following these lectures and also give me the strength to include the teachings of these dars in my practical life.
Allah protected us from a serious loss:
Last February, my family and I had gone for a visit to Islamabad and from there we made a plan to visit Murree too. That day when we left Islamabad for Murree, I recited one tasbeeh of YA HAFEEZO YA SALAAMO یَاحَفِیْظُ یَاسَلَامُ according to Hazrat Hakeem Sahib’s instructions. While we were still travelling on the Murree road, I also recited the following verse-حَسْبِیَ اللہُ لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّاہُوَط عَلَیْہِ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَہُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ ﴿توبہ۱۲۹)۔-along with the dua that if this journey is beneficial for us then allow us to go, otherwise prevent us from going. I had just said this dua when suddenly heavy rain began and water collected on the road. I instructed the kids to let go of the plan and go back but they began to insist so much that I had to keep silent. My husband kept driving the car in that rain but when we reached an area where water had risen to knee level, the car stopped in the middle of that water filled puddle. No one was around that could help us and it was very cold too. I kept on reciting the above mentioned surah while my husband got out of the car to push the car to an area with lesser water. Nearly an hour later, more cars had become stuck too because of the heavy rain and water on the road. Mechanics were called who then tried taking out the water from the cars and it was after three hours that the car was able to start again. While this was happening I kept on reciting the verse and after three hours I made the kids realize that going to Murree in such weather was perilous. After reaching back home we offered two nafl of gratitude since Allah had saved us from any serious harm because if we had made our way to Murree then we might have suffered some serious loss.
YA HAFEEZO YA SALAAM protected from insult:
Honourable Hakeem Sahib, my husband is employed in a company where if the boss’s wife does not like something in her house then she orders it to be done again. Once the geyser in their house had stopped working and everyone from their company had been called to fix the fault but almost all of the persons had returned unsuccessful and had been severely insulted too by the wife of the boss who cursed them too when something was not done according to her decisions. At the end my husband was sent to fix the geyser because other colleagues didn’t allow my husband to go to the house of any senior employee since all of these employees wanted only my husband to come to their house after that; they were satisfied by the work of my husband. But this time around my husband had to be sent because the respect of the whole company was at stake and so my husband spent a day working on that geyser and after the fault had been corrected he called the boss’s wife to come and check it. My husband then told me that that day he had made a dua that since Allah has control over the respect and humility associated with a person then I seek protection from the this old woman’s insulting remarks. Also my husband had kept reciting YA HAFEEZO YA SALAAMO یَاحَفِیْظُ یَاسَلَامُ that day. The effect of doing all this was that my husband was praised for his work and was given tea and biscuits too along with the order that no other person except my husband should come for work in their house.
