From the pen of the editor. What I saw, heard and thought Taaj Mahal or Aag Mahal Someone asked Hazrat Ali (RA), what is the meaning of Rabbana aatina fit duniya hassanatanw...???

 رَبَّنَا اٰتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً He (RA) said fit duniya.... means such a wife who would not let you become old before the right age. Meaning that such a wife who is pious, who is helpful to her husband, and patient and content. The day since when I read this saying, and the whole day wives and husbands come to me with their intricate and difficult familial problems, this saying starts wandering in front of my eyes. And I think that whether good world means to have a pious wife??? And the reply comes that yes, it is a pious wife. How many wives are such who have ruined lives. In yesterday’s meeting a young man was sitting in front of me and he was sobbing that he got married with a lot of charm and while only 8 months have passed since the marriage and the wife has ruined the whole house. She uses abusive language. She calls my mother a bitch. She wants to go to the hotels all the time. Take me to Dubai. Take me to London, Murree, let us eat food in PC, and when we do not have anything, she wants to eat food outside the house. Roaming and wandering. It is the style of my wife to spend all the days and nights of her life in fun and extravaganza. She is taking a good a salary in a private company and has a good designation. But... !!! There her behavior is different. As soon as she comes back to the house, her attitude changes and the true self starts revealing itself. Her attitude is so insolent that I am extremely upset that what should I do now...??? My life has become a living hell. Alas...!!! I had not got married. As the editor of Ubqari I earnestly request the mothers that you have obtained a lot of academic degrees for your daughters. But softness, tolerance, forgiveness are a few things about which you have not taught them anything. After all why have you not taught them these things....! Otherwise daughters would make the life hell; their own and of their in-laws too. When the same daughters come to me they are indulged into strange illnesses from head to toe. They take tablets of depression, tension and hopelessness. Their lives keep on becoming hopeless day by day. And they become victims of irritability and anxiety. Meaning that the peace of their own lives has also vanished and the peace of others has also vanished completely. I have a request to the mothers that they should teach their offspring the behavior of Hazrat Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) from the first day. They should spare time for this. And take their time. Consider this as a responsibility that even if we do not give our offspring good education, good clothing, huge bungalow and house, but... if we teach them good manners, even the small cottage becomes Taj Mahal. If we did not teach them good manners, even the taaj mahal will become aag (fire) mahal. Come! Let you and me also make this vow to ourselves.
