After understanding that human spirit is an everlasting truth, which remains alive even after death, we come to another point of research about its possible travel between the past and the future. Related to this the following discussion is quite significant.
Can a human’s non material being travel between the spaces of time? The events that take place around us,are they already programmed within the time dimension?
In answer to these questions, we can say that time itself is in motion and is travelling from the future to the past, taking along with itself all events and moments.an example about time and events is such that we can imagine a waterfall that opens into the sea ,carrying with itself all things that float or swim within it. Everything ends up into the great vastness of the sea and to retrieve anything, we would need divers, but they too can work only up to their limited abilities.
A human stands on the corner of this very waterfall. For some time he views the objects that pass before his eyes, they leave their effects on him too, making him realize that the water is flowing. if nothing were to be present on the surface of this water then he would never feel it moving. The same situation is with time, if we don’t encounter events passing by then we would never realize that time does not stay still.
Imagine that you are standing on the edge of a river on the surface of which many things are floating and they pass by you. Now if someone starts to walk upstream at a quicker pace, he will be able to see those things earlier than you. Similarly it is possible that human spirit travelling against the flow of time and hence see events before their true happening. However just like you need extra effort to swim upstream; to know the future you would also need to do some specific hard work.
‘Past’ is like the vast ocean which is like a storehouse for all events happening. It stores them without deleting them and if some powerful diver wants to see these events again then he can do so. In similar way things happening all around us can be stored in our memories too. Remembering these events we can relive the previous times in our thoughts but these are only reflections of the past. An example of this is the TV screen on which events appear as if truly happening but in reality these are only recordings of what happens somewhere else but they are viewed as if happening at your own house.
DREAMS AND THEIR REALITY: Every one of us might have once in the course of our lives seen a dream that becomes a reality soon after. If something that happened in our dream never existed in this world then how come we saw it before its existence?
The real truth is that all that happens around us, is previously recorded in the tablet of time.in our dreams our spirit is able to see some events of the future and later they happen according to Allah’s will and come before our eyes in this world too. We call this the present, which has the future on one side and the past on the other. Meaning that the present itself is no interval, the present is a very brief moment in which any event appears before the eyes of anyone and then disappears into the storehouse of the past.
How can we travel into the future? To find an answer to this may have worked quite hard and have attained success to some extent too. But it is also concluded that some naturally have this insight into the future and can predict correctly some of the future events. Amongst them are those too who see dreams related to what’s going to happen.in the following we will discuss this topic of time with reference to the efforts of a British on this very issue. The name of this British army officer was J.W.Devon. In 1899 this man experienced events that he had previously dreamed about which led him to wonder that how come he saw events before their actual happening?
