Hazrat Asma Bint Abu Bakar Siddique رضی اللہ عنہا narrates that once her infidel mother came to see her during the period of Hudaibiya Peace Pact. She sought permission from Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ if she could treat her visiting mother well. To this Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that, “Yes! You may treat her well.” This incident indicates that some rights and obligations get established even for non-Muslims parents etc. Parents must be obeyed unless they ask to do which is forbidden in Shariah.
